By a cruel twist of my subconscious, I dreamt that I was at work today only to be woken up by my alarm signaling me to get up and go to work.
My signature Monster Shake (see recipe below) did little to clear out the cobwebs and I floated my way down the highway in a sleep deprived stupor.
Once I opened up the fitness center I decided that a little exercise may kick start the caffeine so I preceeded to complete 3 3-exercise circuits (hanging leg raise/plyo push-up/tricep push down, split stance chest press/levers/bicep curls, cable 1-arm 1-leg romanian deadlifts/pike pushups off of a bench/1-arm cable rope rows) before and guests arrived. Worked up a sweat and stimulated enough adrenaline to coast for the next few hours.
Until my brain started to shut down again. This prompted me to bust out the foam roll and work out some knots.
Lunch, helping guests, and performing random acts of gym maintenance/upkeep kept me afloat until about 1/2 hour before it was go-home time.
A quick cup of coffee and several rounds of fingertip farmers walks with 45lb plates, body rows (feet on a bench), and assisted pistol squats brought me across home plate.
