By now, most of you have probably heard about the death defying McDonald's Happy Meal (Mc Donald's Happy Meal resists decomposition for six months). If you haven't, all you really need to know is that a photographer decided to document the decomposition, or lack thereof, of a McDonalds Happy Meal and, surprise, surprise, the Happy Meal (or should I say Sad Meal) still looks "fresh" six months later. Gross right?
Well 180 days is nothing compared to this fast food project. On her blog, thesproutedflourblog.com, Janie Quinn posted pictures of an 8 YEAR OLD cheeseburger and you've got to see it to believe it (Eight Year Old Cheeseburger).
The great thing about this, is that it doesn't just single out McDonald's. There are some chips that look quite similar to Pringles, a doughnut that could have likely come from Krispy Kreme, and a wad (yes, literally a wad) of ice-cream.
