Looking for a way to spruce up your salad? Add 'staches!
Ingredients:
2-3 cups mixed greens
1/2 cup broccoli florets and stems (chopped)
1/4 small white onion (thinly sliced)
~3in of an English cucumber (sliced)
2 tbsp shelled pistachios
2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
Fresh ground black pepper
1/2 tsp dried or 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
4-5 artichoke quarters
2 tbsp flax seed or extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
Put greens in a large salad bowl. Layer cucumber, onion, broccoli, and artichokes over the greens. Sprinkle pistachios on top of salad along with rosemary, black pepper, and lemon juice. Drizzle oil over the salad to finish.
That looks delicious, and very very green :)
