Edit
After last week's "Master Cleanse" and the two days it took for me to get my food intake back to normal I was feeling a little...drawn. If the image in the mirror wasn't enough, regulars from my fitness classes suggested that I needed to eat a hamburger (maybe with a portobello mushroom instead of a bun), and I took it as a sign that I needed to amp up my calorie intake.
To ensure that the calories were quality as well as quantity, I had Spinach and Egg Scrambles for breakfast, Ham "Sandwiches" with fruit for lunch, handfuls of Cinnamon Maple Almonds and apples for snacks, and Winning Meatballs and salads topped with Creamy Avocado Dressing for dinner. It seemed like I was eating WAY too much food, but I kept at it, thinking that gaining back a pound or two would probably be a good thing.
Well, lo and behold, I hopped on the scale this morning and tested my weight and bodyfat and found that although I had gained weight (.5lbs) I had actually shed bodyfat (.6%). This happened previously during the 90 Day Challenge (I increased calories and dropped bodyfat week 5 and week 6 ), but I am still surprised at how awesome it is to eat as much as I want and to still drop bodyfat.
Week 9 Statistics:
Weight - 180 (-12 lbs from start)
Bodyfat % - 10.2 % (-3.1% from start)
Previously on "Caveman Me" ...
Week 1: "Hunting and Gathering at the Grocery Store"

Week 3: "Eyes Wide Open"
Week 4: "Cruise Control"
Week 5: "Let Them Eat Cake"
Week 6: "For Weddings and a Golden Corral"
Week 7: "Blood Work"
Week 8: "The Master Cleanse"
