Remember those leftover stalks from the collard greens recipe? The flavor is similar to brussels sprouts, but the texture and crunch from the crispy leaves is very different and delicious!
Ingredients:
2lbs leftover collard green stalks
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt
Fresh ground black pepper
Directions:
Fill a large baking pan with collard green stalks. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Use your hands to toss the stalks ensuring that they are evenly coated with oil.
In an oven preheated to 350 degrees, bake for 20-30 minutes or until stalks are tender and leftover leaves are crispy.
Yield: A lot
