My beautiful wife deserves the credit for the creation of this delicious Primal meatloaf.
Ingredients:
1.5 lb ground beef (90/10)
1/2 cup organic sour cream
1/2 of an 8oz can of organic tomato paste or 1/4 cup organic ketchup
4-5 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 small white onion (diced)
3-4 medium fresh basil leaves (finely chopped)
2 eggs
Fresh ground black pepper
Pinch sea salt
Directions:
In a large bowl, thoroughly combine all ingredients. Grease a bread pan with butter and lightly press the mixture into the pan. Cover with foil and cook in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Then, remove the foil and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Yield: 3-4 meatastic servings
Had leftover hamburger and pork from my crustless quiche, and had the ingredients for your wife's Primal Meatloaf. Had to distract my husband when I added the sour cream so he wouldn't know it was in there. But his verdict when it was served was "Delicious!"-chrisnpiggies
