Caveman Cuisine: The Popeye

Smooth, creamy, and enough spinach to make the sailor man proud.
Ingrediets:

2 cups organic chopped frozen spinach
2 tbsp full fat coconut cream
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I like Jarrow brand 100% Whey)
1/4 tsp cinnamon (Ceylon, or true cinnamon is best)
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder (like Navitas Naturals)

Directions:

Blend together all ingredients until smooth.  You can adjust the amount of almond milk to vary the consistency.

Yield: 1 pipe-tooting portion

  1. This sounds interesting, but promotes a question...do you put the spinach in frozen, or do you thaw it first?

  2. Frozen for sure :) You don't need to add ice that way!
