Caveman Cuisine: Coco Cocoa Butter

Send your fat-phobic friends into conniptions by eating this decadent delight in front of them.


2 tbsp coconut butter (softened) 
2 tbsp unsalted grass-fed butter (softened)
1/4 tsp real vanilla extract
Pinch sea salt
1-2 tbsp Hershey's natural cocoa powder

Step 1: Butter meet butter

In a small bowl, mix together butter, coconut butter, sea salt, and vanilla extract.

Step 2: Chocolatize

Add cocoa powder (more or less depending on preference) and mix thoroughly.

Step 3: Enjoy!

Curl up on the couch and enjoy while reading your dog-eared copy of "Good Calories, Bad Calories."  You could also put Coco Cocoa Butter into a pastry bag, pipe it in little swirls onto a sheet of wax or parchment paper, refrigerate and serve to unwitting guests at your next soiree.  I guess you COULD use it as a frosting or spread if you really wanted to.
