Dark Chocolate-Blackberry Cream Cheese
High antioxidant, high fat, and high taste!
Ingredients:
Dash cinnamon
1-2oz of chopped unsweetened 100% chocolate (I used Baker's)
8-10 ripe blackberries (plus one for decoration)
1 cup organic cream-cheese or Neufchatel
Directions:
In a small bowl, thoroughly mix chocolate, blackberries, and cinnamon into the cream cheese. Top with the remaining blackberry and serve as a dip with celery stalks.
Yield: A slightly sweet snack that won't overload your pancreas

ReplyDeleteyou melted the chocolate 1st ...right? I'm going to make it with cocoa powder. Sounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteI didn't bother melting the chocolate because I like the texture of little chocolatey chunks, but it should work find if one wanted to do so. Cocoa powder should also work well. Glad you like the recipe and hope you get a chance to try it!
