2011 FED Family Reunion: Full Disclosure Food and Activity Log

8/3/11: Last work day before the trip.
Starting Weight: 191 lbs

8/4/11: Day 1, Flying into Minnesota and driving into Wisconsin.
Awake at 4:45am (Eastern Time) and at airport by 5:30am, had a "Grande" Starbucks regular brewed coffee w/ 1 tbsp half and half
Activity: 50 air squats in airplane bathroom
2 cups of water during flight
Arrived in Minneapolis by 11am (Central Time)
Breakfast/Lunch: IHOP T-bone steak and 3 fried eggs over medium.  Plenty of Chuluhla hot sauce and water
Activity: Walked around Mall of America
Activity: Around 5pm arrived at Wisconsin's famous Norske Nook restaurant and did 100 air squats in restaurant bathroom
Dinner: 8oz salmon steak with butter, 2 tbsp mashed potatoes, iceberg garden salad with blue cheese dressing, 5 french fries, 1/4 cup cooked carrots, and several bites each of apple, blueberry, and strawberry pie.
Around 10pm drove out to a dive bar and ordered 2 draft beers and 2 sticks of beef jerky

8/5/11: Day 2, Preparing for the reunion.
24oz cold water
Activity: 45min walk interspersed with 2 all-out hill sprints, 20 full ROM pull-ups, 2 sets of 15 box jumps onto a 24in ledge, and an agility run through sprinkler heads.
Freezing cold shower
Breakfast: 3 eggs fried in butter with chopped up bratwurst, onions, and 2oz of fresh cheese curds.
Cup of coffee with half & half
Snack: 3 oz beef jerky, 8 pork rinds, 2 black olives
Activity: Walked to the lake for and swam/treaded water for about 30 minutes.  Jumped on the floating trampoline.
Dinner 1: Taco Salad (ground beef, sour cream, shredded lettuce, mixed vegetables) and 8 pork rinds
Dinner 2: 2 bratwurst sausages, 2 home grown tomatoes, home-made saurkraut, mustard
3 bottles of New Glarus beer

8/6/11: Day 3, Reunion day.
Breakfast: 2 cold bratwurst, home-made sauerkraut, sour cream, mustard
Activity: Playground equipment workout (50 body-rows, 50 triceps extensions, 50 squats, 50 lunges)
3 cups of coffee with half & half
Activity: 20 minutes canoeing and 20 minutes of walking
Lunch: Turkey and roast beef lunch meat over Caesar salad. Lasagna toppings (meat, cheese, and sauce) with noodles removed. Unsweetened ice tea.
Activity: Ran after 3 year old nephew to the point of profuse sweating
Activity: Packed up, played "Supermarket Sweep" at Super Wal-Mart, drove to Lake Kimball Resort, and unpacked
Snack: 2oz garlic dill cheese curds, 2oz beef jerky, 1 micro-brew beer
Activity: Fishing
Dinner: Mixed vegetable salad with roast beef and turkey lunch meat, home-made pickled asparagus and baby carrots.

8/7/11: Day 4, Fun at Lake Kimball Resort.
24 oz cold water
Activity: 500m swim, 50 push ups on island in the middle of Lower Lake Kimball
Cup of coffee with half & half
Activity: 30 min hard paddle-boating

Activity: 2.5 mile run and 25 chin ups of swing-set
Breakfast/Lunch: 2 bratwurst, 3 eggs fried in tallow (reserved from Taco meat) with Tapatio hot sauce, home-made pickled hot peppers, 2oz garlic dill cheese curds, and a cup of coffee with half and half.
Activity: Fishing
24 oz cold water
Snack: 8 pork rinds, 2oz beef jerky
Activity: 30 chin ups
1 micro-brew beer
Activity: 500m swim, 500m hard kayaking
1 micro-brew beer
Dinner: 2 bowls of Mostly Meaty Chili with cheese, home-made hot peppers and sour cream
Activity: Fishing

8/8/11: Day 6, Out on the town.

Coffee with half & half
Activity: 8 mile walk mixed with jogging and all out sprints
Coffee with heavy cream

Cold shower
Activity: Walking around shopping for 3 hours
Snack: Sampled various types of fudge and peanut and cashew brittle at candy store as well as olive oils at a specialty grocery store
Snack: 4 pork rinds, 2 home-made dill pickles, 2oz garlic dill cheese curds, 3oz roast beef
Dinner 1: 1/2lb hamburger patty with Wisconsin cheddar cheese, garden salad, 1/2 avocado
Dinner 2: Roast zucchini with olive oil and oregano, bratwurst with sauerkraut and mustard
Can of beer
Activity: Fishing
Micro-brew beer
12oz cold water mixed with 2oz grapefruit juice

8/9/11: Day 7, Fishing and drinking, drinking and fishing.

Activity: Body-weight circuit of push-ups, step ups (3ft tree stump), & pull ups (5 rounds x 10 reps each)
Activity: Fishing
Breakfast: Coffee with heavy cream, 3 eggs fried in butter with hot sauce, 2 slices thick-cut bacon, and bratwurst
2 cups coffee with heavy cream

Activity: 500m swim

Snack: 2oz beef jerky, 15 raw almonds
Dinner: Roast summer squash Naghetti with home-made meat sauce

8/10/11: Day 8, Final day at the lake.

Activity: 4 mile jog with some walking and sprints
Breakfast: 4 strips thick cut bacon, 3 fried eggs cooked in tallow with hot sauce, garden salad
Activity: 90 minutes of kayaking, leisurely pace with some all-out efforts
2 micro-brew beers
Lunch: 2 small pieces of fried fish (fresh blue-gill fillets coated in seasoned flour and fried in soybean oil), Pan Fried Pan Fish, garden salad, and 1 avocado
Snack: Top shelf margarita and 4oz beef jerky at airport

Snack: 15 raw almonds, 2 tbsp shredded coconut
Snack: Sweet and Sour Cream with 1 tsp raw walnuts

8/11/11: Day 9, Couch surfing.
Breakfast: Smoothie with 4 strawberries, 2 tbsp shredded coconut, 1" chunk banana, 2 scoops plain whey protein, and water
Snack: 2 tbsp cultured sour cream mixed with 1 tbsp coconut oil
Snack: 2oz cheese, 8 candied walnuts, 2oz pork cracklins, 1 sea scallop with bacon
Snack: 2oz pork cracklins, 10 raw macadamia nuts, 10 raw Brazil nuts, and 10 organic black cherries
Dinner: Paleo Pad Thai
Snack: 1oz unsweetened Baker's chocolate with 3oz pastured heavy cream
Snack: 2 tbsp chocolate coconut oil
Snack: 4oz coconut muesli
6oz almond milk
