Caveman Cuisine: Nutty Chicken Salad


Must...avoid...cheesy cliches...Aw forget about it, you'll go nuts for this delicious dinner salad!

Ingredients:

Organic mixed greens
Red onion (thinly sliced)
Carrot (shredded)
6oz roasted chicken breast (chopped)
Fresh black pepper
3oz mixed dry-roasted nuts (salted is ok, but be sure to pick a brand with no peanuts or extra oils)
BBQ sauce for dressing (you can usually find good quality stuff at specialty stores, but another option is to make your own)

Directions:

Layer salad greens, vegetables and chicken on a large serving plate.  Drizzle with BBQ sauce and top with nuts.  Season with fresh ground black pepper.

Yield: You'd be nuts if you didn't finish the whole thing!
