Caveman Cuisine: Faux Cheesy
Potent source of B-vitamins AND it tastes like cheese? Yup, nutritional yeast is pretty cool. It's even "deactivated", so the little guys won't grow in your body!
Ingredients:
3 eggs
2 cups kale (roughly chopped)
2 tbsp butter or ghee
1/2 Hass avocado (sliced)
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
Fresh ground black pepper
Hot sauce (optional)
Directions:
In a small frying pan, melt butter or ghee over medium heat. Add kale and saute for 3-5 minutes (until soft). Crack eggs over the sauteed kale and cover the frying pan with a lid. When the eggs have set, use a spatula to remove them to a plate. Add sliced avocado and season with black pepper, nutritional yeast, and hot sauce if desired.
Yield: Faux cheesy but real tasty!
