Caveman Cuisine: PFP (Pig Fat Poached) Eggs

Ok, maybe these eggs are not technically "poached", but their darn close, delicious, and cooked in pig fat.


5 eggs
2 tbsp Garlic Pig Butter (Bacon Fat would work too)


Melt lard in a small frying pan over medium heat.  Add eggs and cover the pan with a lid.  Allow the eggs to cook for ~5 minutes (or until whites are set).

Loosen the edges of the eggs with a spatula, and serve as is, or, over a plate of sauteed greens.

Yield: A delicious discus
